A nice quiet place to rest and relax, unbothered by the busy metropolis waiting outside

Back into the fray. There was this other unexpected structure. A Roman style aquaduct. Because of what I saw down below, I made a long detour around the cathedral and approached this from the opposite direction.

Nope, that's not me getting out of a taxi, although at times I may feel like that

Getting back into the business district and then hooking a long way around the cathedral got me to another interesting section. There were courts here and the place was very busy. Not so much on this side of the street, where you can see the Masonic Temple of Rio.

I slipped through the aquaduct away from the derelicts that were milling around on the far end.
